Across all of our sites, there are different account roles that the users can have. Every site’s hirearchy is a little bit different, but overall they function in very similar ways. Each role has different permissions and aspects of the front end and backend that it can have access to.
As stated before, every site’s account role hirearchy is a little different. However, on nearly every site, there are three main account roles:
Administrator: This account role has access to all back-end and front-end processes. The Admin can add and manage trainings without any restrictions.
Section Admin / Partner Admin / Supervisor: This account role is restricted by organization. For example, a section admin can bulk register participants to a training for their own organization and they will also have access to all the database entries associated with their assigned organization. Most sites have some variation of this role. It is called Section Admin on some sites, Partner Admin on others, and so on and so forth.
Subscriber (Employee): Subscribers (employees) have the most basic access and are able to navigate through pages on the front-end and register for various trainings or groups.
Some sites may have additional account roles, but those are the main three that you will be coming across and interacting with. Some sites also have their own admin role (typically with the name of the organization in the title). These operate almost exactly the same as Administrator, however the difference is that the backend options that these users have no need for will not appear.
