Many times, there will be records in the Course Participant Database that all need to have the same action taken upon them. You can edit entries in bulk, as well as delete them. To do these actions, you will need to go to the CPD.
Bulk Editing
To bulk edit entries in the CPD, first check off the entries you wish to have the changes apply to. Then make the changes in the below fields, which are above the table on the page. Note: not every site has the same fields, but these are the most common ones. Again, they may not all appear on your site.
Training Status: Changes the training status.
Course Compeletion Date: Changes the recorded completion date.
Project: Changes the project that the entry falls under.
Date/Time: Changes the date and time for the entry.
Location: Changes the location for the entry.
Enter what you would like the field to change to in the appropriate place. Once you have done so, click the associated Update button. The CPD will take a second to load, and then once it does the changes will have applied to the selected entries.
Bulk Deletions
Bulk deletions in the CPD are very straightforward. Simply check off the entries you wish to delete, and then click Delete Selected at the top of the first column. It will prompt you to confirm, and then once you do so, the CPD will load and then the entries will have been deleted.
